Our dynamic group practice serves as a space for spirited discussions on how to best serve our clients, how to network in the broader community, how to apply the latest research and “best practices” to our work, and most especially, how to find support for the journey of establishing and maintain a successful private practice!
Support Services at Earley Wellness Group:
- Patient referrals are provided as clients request services. Deb will pass out patients on an equal basis using referral, scheduling, and treatment specialties as guidelines.

- 24-hour answering service
- Wifi service
- Newsletters designed specifically for acupuncturists, with the intent of being sent every 3 weeks to your patients
- Social media marketing
- Weekly linen service and office cleaning
- Basic office supplies
- Standardized client information and medical history intake/charting forms
- Paper goods (toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, etc.)
- Basic kitchen supplies & tea center supplies
- Personal storage
- Books and shared office resources
- Trash and recycling pick up
- Maintenance of all office issues
- Slip and Fall insurance (in the event of an office injury)
Your Practice and Responsibility:
- You must establish your own practice as an independent business entity.
- You will be solely responsible for all legal, financial, and tax matters related to your individual business entity.
- You are individually responsible for client compliance with all federal and city regulations. Acupuncturists must be compliant with all NCAAOM regulations and massage therapists must be compliant with all NCMTMB regulations.
- You are responsible for practicing within your scope of practice and maintaining files in accordance with DC regulations.
- You are responsible for your own malpractice insurance and liability insurance.
- You are responsible for marketing your services and generating your own caseload, in addition to clients that will be referred to you.

Fee Structure:
Our group practice is run with a practitioner making a percentage of the fees collected. The percentage is determined by experience, number of patients you serve annually, and on the number of years you participate in our practice. Fee structure is negotiated during the interview process. My philosophy is that if I make you successful, the group practice will be successful. The percentage is designed to encourage practitioners to stay and develop and grow.
Shifts Defined:
Sharing of space at Earley Wellness Group will be organized by shift. Each practitioner will construct his/her own regular schedule by selecting from shift schedules.
Standard shift (Monday – Friday):
Each standard weekday shift covers 6 hours with 2 shifts/day.
- 8:00 am –2:00 pm
- 2:00 pm –8:00 pm
Weekend shifts (Saturday – Sunday):
Each standard weekend shift covers 7 hours with a second 4 hour shift in the evening.
- 8:00 am –3:00 pm (long shift)
- 3:00 pm-7:00 pm (short shift)
